10towatchPORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Tim Martin, the President and CEO of Neoscope Technology Solutions, was selected to the second annual 10 to Watch list sponsored by Catapult Seacoast, the young professional network.

The 2015 honorees were chosen from among 82 entrants who live and work throughout the Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. Catapult Seacoast and Seacoast Media Group created the contest as a way to celebrate young professionals ages 21 to 40. The recognition honors them for the work they’ve done and the contributions they will continue to make in their communities. Martin attended the ceremony which took place at 3S Artspace performance center in Portsmouth May 14.

“I’m very honored to be recognized by Catapult Seacoast and Seacoast Media Group as one of the top 10 to Watch on the Seacoast,” Martin said. “Neoscope has worked very hard since we arrived on the Seacoast in 2011 after being located in Derry for our first 5 years in business. We came to the Seacoast region specifically for the great business community here and it’s helped us achieve aggressive growth in the past 4 years. This has helped us create more jobs and opportunities for our staff to give back to the community.”

Martin, 36, is a graduate of Keene State College and founded Neoscope in 2006. He was cited by the 10 to Watch judges for his activity in both the Dover and Portsmouth chambers of commerce, as well as the tenants association at the Pease International Tradeport. “His company is very engaged in such nonprofits as New Heights, Strawberry Banke, Crossroads House, Cocheco Valley Humane Society, and the Portsmouth Music and Arts Center,” the citation read.

“Early in my IT career, I spent three years at a nonprofit behavioral health center. I was inspired by an amazing CIO and the experience opened my eyes to the selfless culture and hard work these organizations do while they struggle with declining budgets,” Martin said. “I have used that experience as an inspiration for Neoscope to help nonprofit clients with similar aspirations.”

The 10 to Watch contest feeds entries into the statewide Rising Stars Award presented each year by Stay Work Play New Hampshire, the organization formed to promote New Hampshire as a place for young professionals to stay, work and play – and raise a family. Martin was profiled earlier this year in the 9 to 5 blog of Stay Work Play. The post highlighted Martin’s quest for the right work-life balance.
