shieldPORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Neoscope Technology Solutions, a leading managed IT service provider in Northern New England, has expanded its security portfolio with the addition of Craig Taylor as its new Chief Security Officer (CSO).

Taylor has more than two decades of IT security experience. His previous roles have given him a unique perspective to most information security trends and practices in the industry. His wide range of work experience spans industries such as banking, finance, health care, manufacturing and transportation. Taylor has also overseen many compliance requirements such as HIPPA and has been involved in hundreds of successful audits that have helped clients bolster their compliance and security.

“Craig has a strong and unique combination of technology and security management experience,” said Timothy Martin, the President and CEO of Neoscope Technology Solutions. “With the addition of an industry veteran like Craig, we’ll maximize our ability to assess the security needs of our clients and put them in the most advantageous IT security positions. Neoscope has always had security as a top priority but as regular headlines have shown, the need to constantly upgrade security protocols and stay ahead of the game requires increased dedication. Craig gives us the ability to take those next steps.”

Prior to joining Neoscope, Taylor was the Risk and Compliance Executive at CSC. He was charged with building and leading a global Cloud security program that resulted in increased business. He also oversaw hundreds of client audits and ensured that security and compliance objectives were maintained to meet all client contractual business obligations.

Taylor also served as Director of IT risk and compliance for Chase Paymentech of Salem. Among many accomplishments, he rebuilt two teams of information risk professionals and developed an information security and risk road map focused on Cyber Security, BAU processes, and audit requirements.

“I’m very excited to be joining Neoscope’s IT consulting and management team,” said Taylor, a graduate of the University of Guelph in Canada. “They have a strong product offering and excellent technology skills which I’m excited to lend my Information Security experience. What excites me most is OUR upcoming ‘Neoscope Shield’ security service offering tailored specifically to the SMB market, a market increasingly targeted by hackers but one that has been chronically underserved from a Cyber Security perspective. This offering is economically priced and provides an exceptional level of protection against the varied, critical, and destructive threats facing SMB’s.”
