nhhtc-logoCongratulations to our very own Neoscope Technology Solutions Founder and President Tim Martin
who has been nominated for the High Tech Council 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year award.

The NH High Tech Council engages, connects, and supports member companies throughout New Hampshire. As the largest member-driven technology association in the state, the Council supports research, innovation, and economic and workforce development efforts that have helped New Hampshire become a national leader in entrepreneurship and business. “The list of past winners is really a who’s who of technology innovators that have created jobs and advanced innovation in many ways locally and nationally. We’re hoping for another great pool of candidates as we prepare to celebrate the event’s 25th anniversary,” said Matt Cookson, the Council’s executive director.

What Tim had to say about being nominated:
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be nominated by my peers for the NHHTC Entrepreneur of the Year award. Neoscope has had exponential growth over the past few years, involvement in numerous charity and community projects, and a great story to tell of helping other businesses to save money and operate more efficiently. It is great to be recognized for hard work and sacrifice. I’m grateful to have even been considered for such a prestigious award from such a forward thinking group.”

Tim’s entrepreneurial enthusiasm started back in his early college years. Tim successfully created a business that sold vintage synthesizers and keyboard instruments on eBay. Yet this simply was not enough for him. Ultimately, Tim wanted to create a company that helped struggling organizations to use technology proficiently while simultaneously fostering local interconnectivity. When Tim initially started Neoscope in 2006, he assisted churches and non-profits with their technology. Not only did his assistance aid in supporting these organizations, he has been able to double his yearly revenue in 2009, 2011, while just falling short in 2012. Tim has also been actively involved with the community during these years and is associated with many business organizations which include, but are not limited to, Chambers of Commerce in Derry, Londonderry, Manchester Dover and Portsmouth, the Tradeport Association at Pease, and NHBIA. He makes regular donations, participates and sponsors events for groups such as New Heights Adventures for Teens, St. Jude Hospital, The Humane Society, My Breast Cancer Support, Breathe NH, Habitat for Humanity and many more. As an avid runner, Tim and the growing Neoscope team are involved in almost all road races on the Seacoast. Tim also encourages his staff to donate at least a few working hours each month to local charities, and to donate computers, laptops as well as services to various charities.

The NH High Tech Council 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year winner will be selected May 6th. Stay tuned!
